Funding apprenticeship training for staff in charities and community organisations supporting those challenged by homelessness across London.

Funding criteria

We are offering Apprenticeship Levy funding to charities and organisations, who do not currently have a requirement to make contributions to a levy fund, supporting beneficiaries residing in emergency and temporary accommodation across London boroughs.

Funding is to be used to offer apprenticeship training to the applicant organisation’s existing staff.

Our funding covers the employer contribution required under the Government’s apprenticeship programme. Please read here for more information on the Government’s apprenticeship training programme, and the related subsidisation offered by the Government.

Please note, we cannot advise you on the training initiatives offered by the Government. Applicants should consult their learning provider for details on eligible apprenticeship training.

Funding exclusions

The Foundation will not consider applications from:

Organisations operating outside of the United Kingdom.
Organisations applying on another’s behalf – applicants must be legally independent.
Those seeking to fund political or religious activities.
Applications which support beneficiaries residing outside of a London borough.

By submitting this application you are confirming authorisation to make this submission. You understand and agree to the following conditions should any grant be made. (Please note that if you leave the organisation or can no longer fulfil your responsibilities, or someone takes over responsibility for the grant on behalf of the organisation you must inform The Stef and Philips Foundation immediately). 1. We certify that the information contained in this application is correct. 2. If the information in the application changes in any way, we will inform the Stef and Philips Foundation immediately. 3. If successful we will not use the grant for any other purpose other than that specified on the award letter without first contacting The Stef and Philips Foundation to seek authorisation. 4. We will send a report to the Stef and Philips Foundation, outlining progress made on the project and money spent, within six months of receiving the grant. 5. We will keep receipts and records of any payments made with this grant and will send copies of the receipts, along with a report to the Stef and Philips Foundation, at the end of the project. 6. We will highlight the support given by The Stef and Philips Foundation in all relevant publicity material which we will share with The Stef and Philips Foundation. 7. We agree for The Stef and Philips Foundation to use details about any award received by us for promotion purposes.
