Single parenting and homelessness: a growing crisis

Imagine the uncertainty of not having a permanent place to call home. Imagine having to go through life without the basic necessities you and your family need.
The cost of living and housing crisis have all taken their toll and today the number of households in temporary and emergency accommodation in England is at its highest since records began.
The Stef & Philips Foundation provides vital support to Londoners facing homelessness. Young care leavers, single mothers with babies, families, refugees or people living with a disability. They’re all people with hopes and dreams but limited opportunities. With your support, we can make a difference.
The Stef & Philips Foundation provides support through personal and project grant funding. From the simplest of household items, to education and training courses, or a community initiative that promotes well being and inclusion. Our funding provides hope and an opportunity for a brighter future.
Many of our grants are used to provide personal support in the form of bedding sets, clothing, baby bottle warmers or courses that promote mental and physical health. While others contribute to projects such as developing playgrounds, libraries and other community initiatives.
They can also be used to develop skills and capabilities through education, training and workshops. All of which create opportunities for people desperately trying to turn their lives around.
100% of all donations go directly towards our grants thanks to the generosity of Stef & Philips Ltd who cover all the running costs of the Foundation.
