North London Bikur Cholim provides community-focused health and welfare support, assisting families facing severe medical, financial, and housing hardship.

The Situation

We supported a large family currently in emergency or temporary accommodation following eviction from their previous flat due to long-standing financial hardship, where the mother is the sole carer for four children, including one child with severe medical needs, while the father is abroad for medical treatment.

The Impact of our Grant

Funding provided essential beds, mattresses, duvets, pillows, and bedding for each child, creating a safe, comfortable space to sleep and establishing stability during acute family crisis.
