Individual Grant: Solace Women’s Aid

Solace Women’s Aid provides specialist support and safe spaces for women and children surviving domestic abuse and mental health challenges.

The Situation

We supported an individual fleeing domestic violence at home and sexual assault by a neighbour, now housed by Solace Women’s Aid refuge, who is also managing mental health challenges and a disability, leaving them in an extremely vulnerable and isolated position.

The Impact of our Grant

Funding provided new bedding, kitchen utensils, groceries, and transport costs to help them safely move into and establish their new home.
