Individual Grant: Spires

Spires is a charity supporting some of the most isolated and vulnerable people in society, including those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Many of their beneficiaries face complex challenges such as unemployment, financial pressure, and addiction. The organisation works to provide support that builds confidence, resilience, and independence, helping people move away from homelessness or preventing it altogether.

Our Individual Grant will support a young person living in unfurnished temporary accommodation following a period of domestic violence and rough sleeping. Funding will contribute towards essential household items and basic furnishings.

Spires shared about their client:

“The grant would allow M. to purchase basic household items that she cannot afford. With a safer and more functional home space, she would be better positioned to sustain her emmployment, maintain her independence, and focus on long-term recovery.”
