Individual Grants: Galop ๐Ÿ’Œ

Galop is an anti-abuse charity, providing specialist support to members of the LGBTQ+ community who have experienced domestic abuse, sexual violence, and hate crime.

Our grant awards have funded essential furnishing and homeware equipment for those residing in emergency or temporary accommodation, crisis funding for the cost of living support, educational resources, and resources which enhance the beneficiaries’ well-being and welfare.

Galop shared:

“The client only receives ยฃ8 a week and needs to spend this on essentials.”

“This will allow the client to buy new clothes and to increase his confidence in leaving the house, including formal clothing for interviews.”

“The client would like to buy a laptop to help her begin to study and start to build a life in the UK. She has recently enrolled in English lessons and wants to use the laptop to support her learning and help her with accessing different opportunities.”
