First round of grants awarded!

We are thrilled to announce that we’ve awarded the first round of the Stef & Philips Foundation grants! This is a significant step forward in our ongoing commitment to building a brighter future for individuals and families living in temporary and emergency accommodation. 🏠

After careful review and consideration of the applications, the board of Trustees made the decision to award a total of 38 individual grants and 2 project grants across 21 London boroughs! This widespread distribution reflects our dedication to reaching and supporting communities in need throughout the city.

We feel honoured to say that these grants will provide vital support to individuals facing a range of challenges, including mental health issues, domestic violence and abuse, mobility conditions, asylum seeking, single parenthood, leaving care, modern slavery and human trafficking. By addressing these critical issues, we aim to provide hope, support, and resources to those who need it most.

Here’s how our grants will help:

  • Hot and nutritious meals: addressing food poverty by providing access to hot meals and a more diverse diet.
  • Essential household items: equipping individuals and families with essential items for daily living.
  • Newborn equipment: supporting new parents with the necessary items and formula for their newborns.
  • Winter coats and shoes: keeping Londoners warm and protected during the colder months.
  • Furnishing: creating comfortable and functional living spaces by providing access to furnishing.
  • Educational resources: empowering individuals with access to educational resources for personal and professional development.
  • Recreational activities: promoting well-being and social inclusion through recreational activities for families.

The second round of our grants is now open – you can apply HERE.
