Breaking barriers to employment: Employment 4 All

For many homeless individuals and those living in temporary accommodation, finding stable employment is not just about securing a job – it’s about overcoming a complex web of challenges that make economic independence seem out of reach. Employment 4 All is dedicated to breaking down these barriers, offering tailored support to help individuals build confidence, gain skills, and access the opportunities they need to transform their lives.

The individuals supported by Employment 4 All in Lambeth face multiple challenges, including homelessness, poverty, mental health struggles, disabilities, and past experiences of abuse and exploitation. Many are lone parents, care leavers, refugees, or from marginalised communities, making it even more difficult to find a pathway to secure employment and stability.

To help address these urgent needs, we are proud to have provided a grant for their Crisis Relief Fund, which offers practical assistance to individuals preparing for employment. This fund helps cover essential costs such as food and travel for job interviews, expenses related to obtaining necessary documents for employment and banking, and basic living necessities like personal hygiene products, homeware, bedding, and cooking utensils. Additionally, it provides phone credit to help individuals stay connected, access welfare services, and seek job opportunities.

By funding this initiative, we are helping to remove the immediate financial and practical barriers that prevent individuals from rebuilding their lives. Through personalised support, job training, and financial relief, Employment 4 All is empowering people in Lambeth to achieve stability, inclusion, and long-term independence.
