Healing through art: Art4Space

We are thrilled to share the success story of Art4Space, a recipient of our latest project grant! 💙

Art4Space delivers creative workshops for displaced families living in temporary accommodation in Lambeth. Their mission is to ‘use the power of the arts to enrich lives’. Their workshops encourage creative expression, support with holistic wellbeing, and provide a platform for families to connect with each other. 👪🤝

Art4Space said:

Our strength lies in reaching those in our community who are isolated, experiencing trauma, have poor mental health, and need to build their skills, confidence, and social support networks. The children and young people participating in our programmes are often on free school meals, have special educational needs, have challenging home lives, experience low self-esteem, anxiety, or other mental health issues, and are at risk of disengaging from education.

Commenting on the support, Art4Space said:

On behalf of the team at Art4Space we would like to thank Stef & Philips for the wonderful support towards our creative workshops for children and young people of families in temporary accommodation. This support will make all the difference and we look forward to sharing the positive impact it will have.
