Project Grant: PramDepot πŸ’Œ

PramDepot is a re-use project in Haringey providing good quality baby clothes, essential items, and prams to single parents, refugees, and asylum seekers across London who are facing severe financial hardship. Through referral partners, the organisation reaches mums in the most challenging situations and ensures they have the essentials to care for their newborns.

Our grant will support PramDepot’s mini baby box project, providing essential clothes and baby items to around 200 pregnant women each year. Each box contains clothing, blankets, a sling, a breast pump, bottles, nappies, wet wipes, toiletries, a towel, a toy, and a book, and is delivered directly to the mum’s accommodation six weeks before her due date.

These boxes will enhance wellbeing by ensuring babies have feeding and carrying equipment, while reducing stress for mums in temporary accommodation who might otherwise struggle to access these essential items.
